About FortuNote

FortuNote started with a simple observation — my wife loves perfume, and designer bottles come with designer price tags that don't always match what's inside.

So I did what most people do: I looked into “inspired by” fragrances. And that's where the real problem showed up. Most of them only copy the opening — the first few minutes when you spray it. They smell right on the shelf, sometimes right in the store. But an hour in, they fade into something thin and forgettable, nothing like the original. They're built to impress a first sniff, not to actually be worn.

A perfume isn't just its opening. It's a journey — top notes that greet you, heart notes that settle in, and a base that stays with you hours later. Most inspired versions skip that journey entirely.

Closing the Gap

That's the gap FortuNote exists to close. Every fragrance we make is built at 20% concentration — true Eau de Parfum strength, well above what most mass-market perfumes use — because a scent that fades in an hour was never the point. We measure, mix, and test every batch by hand, in small quantities, so the notes actually develop the way they're meant to: opening, heart, and dry-down.

We're not the only ones who've felt this — a lot of people have wondered why loving fragrance has to come with such a steep price. FortuNote is our answer to that: quality without the markup, and honesty about how we get there.
